Inventory & COGS
Stock you can trust, costs that follow it.
See what you have, what is on the way and what is already promised, with the value of that stock on your books and its cost recognized as it sells.
Receive
Goods are received against what you ordered.
On hand
Stock is tracked per product, with its value.
Reserve
Units promised to open orders are set aside.
Sell
As units sell, their cost moves to cost of goods sold.
01 · Stock on hand
What you have, and what it is worth
Every product shows what is on hand, what is on the way and the value of that stock. Inventory value is an asset on your balance sheet, so the books and the shelf agree.
- On hand, on the way and reserved, tracked separately
- Inventory value on your balance sheet
- Receipts recorded against what you ordered

02 · Available means available
Do not sell what is already promised
Units promised to open orders are reserved, so available is on hand minus what is already spoken for, not a raw count that leads to overselling.
- Reservations hold stock for open orders
- Available is on hand minus what is reserved
- One view of stock across the places you hold it
03 · Cost of goods sold
Cost lands when the sale does
When a unit sells, its cost leaves inventory and moves to cost of goods sold, in the same period as the revenue. Your profit and loss shows the margin you actually earned.
- Cost moves from inventory to cost of goods sold as units sell
- Revenue and its cost land in the same period
- Costs follow the landed cost of each unit
One picture
Inventory and books that tell the same story.
Stock, cost and profit connected in one place, so what is on the shelf and what is in your accounts never disagree.
